SEO and GEO for Dubai and the UAE
SEO for a company selling in Dubai is now two channels, not one. Search engines still rank pages; assistants answer the question and cite a handful of sources. The work that earns the second is related to the first but not identical to it.
You rank for your own brand and nothing else.
Traffic is flat while impressions rise — you are being read and not clicked.
You ask an assistant about your category and a competitor is named.
The site was rebuilt and rankings never came back.
- 01
Technical foundation
Crawlability, rendering, canonicals, sitemaps, status codes, Core Web Vitals, and the internal link structure that tells a crawler what the site is about. Unglamorous, and nothing else works without it.
- 02
Entity and structured data
Schema.org markup that states plainly what the organisation is, what it offers and how the pages relate. Assistants assemble answers from structured, unambiguous statements — so the site has to make them.
- 03
GEO: being citable
Generative engines quote sources that answer a specific question completely, in one place, with something checkable in them. That is a content structure, and it is a different structure from a page written to rank.
- 04
Content built on the questions
Topic architecture from the questions buyers actually ask, written by people who know the subject. Published under a named author, because unattributed content is exactly what both systems are learning to discount.
- 01
A technical audit with the fixes ranked by impact and effort
- 02
Structured data across the site, validated
- 03
A content architecture: clusters, internal linking and the questions each page answers
- 04
Reporting on rankings, and on citation by the major assistants
Invariant
You are indexed as an entity, not as a set of pages.
- What is GEO?
- Generative Engine Optimisation: being found and cited when someone asks an AI assistant a question instead of typing it into a search box. It overlaps with SEO in the technical layer and diverges in content structure — assistants reward completeness and verifiability where search engines historically rewarded relevance and links.
- How long before results?
- Technical fixes show up in weeks. Content and authority move over months. Anyone promising a fixed ranking on a fixed date is selling a schedule they do not control.
- Do you work in languages other than English?
- Yes, and in Spanish. All three are usually far less contested than English, which makes them the cheapest visibility a company in this market can buy.
Each one carries what it is good for, what it is proven on here, and the point at which it stops working. We take no vendor commissions on any of them.
- Next.js
- A React framework that decides, per route, whether a page is rendered once at build time or computed on every request.
- Vercel
- A hosting platform built by the authors of Next.js, where a push to a git branch becomes a globally cached deployment whose per-route cache behaviour is taken from the framework's own build output.
- Cloudflare
- A global proxy network that terminates traffic close to the visitor, plus Workers — a runtime that executes code at those same locations rather than at an origin.
- MDX
- MDX is a format that compiles Markdown into JSX, so a React component can be placed in the middle of a paragraph and rendered as part of the prose.
- Tilda
- A hosted website builder where pages are assembled by dragging pre-made blocks, and the platform serves the result from its own CDN.
- Framer
- A hosted site builder in which the design canvas is the source of truth: pages are drawn, and Framer renders and serves them from its own infrastructure.
- From publishing a page to being cited in an answer
- A page you wrote, travelling from your own server to a sentence in somebody else's search result or assistant answer. 6 steps, 5 known jams.
Then send us the answer. Where a model is wrong about you, or silent, the cause is usually structural and visible in an afternoon — and it is a different problem from ranking, with a different fix. We will tell you which of the two you have.
