1. What this site collects

Nothing, until you send it. There is no advertising tracker on this site, no cross-site tracking, and no profile is built about you.

Four things are recorded:

  • What you type into a form. Your name, email, company, the message itself, and whichever other fields you filled in. Stored alongside it: the network address the request came from and your browser's identification string. Those two exist to stop a script filling the form repeatedly, and for nothing else.
  • A count of page views. How many people opened which page. Collected without cookies and without any device identifier, so it cannot be tied back to you or followed to another site. You can switch it off at the bottom of any page.
  • A count of clicks on our contact details. When someone opens the email address, the phone number or the Telegram link, or sends the form, we store which of the four it was, the page it happened on and the time. Nothing else — no address, no browser string, no identifier of any kind, so one click cannot be joined to another or to you. It exists because a form with no submissions is unreadable on its own: it means either that nobody came, or that everybody who came wrote to us another way, and those need different answers from us. The same switch that turns page-view counting off turns the counting of those three links off too. A form you send is counted either way — it is a message you deliberately sent us, and the first item above already covers what it contains.
  • A record of automated agents. When a crawler or an assistant fetches a page we store the name it declares for itself, what that agent is for, the address it asked for and the time. That is how we can say which answer engines actually read this site — a practice selling that visibility should be able to measure its own. It applies to machines only: a request that does not identify itself as an automated client is not recorded at all, and no network address is stored with any of it.

2. Cookies

This site sets no cookies.

Two things are kept in your browser's local storage: whether you chose the light or the dark theme, and your answer to the page-view counting above. Neither is sent to us, and clearing site data removes both.

3. Where it goes

  • Enquiries are stored in a Supabase database hosted in Tokyo.
  • The site runs on Vercel, which also provides the page-view counting.
  • Email you send us is handled by Google Workspace.

Nobody else receives it. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone's marketing, including our own.

4. Marketing

We send nothing you did not ask for. There is no newsletter and no automated sequence. If you join the waitlist, it is for one message: that capacity has opened.

5. How long it is kept

An enquiry is kept while the conversation it belongs to is live, and afterwards for as long as there is a business or legal reason to hold it. Ask us to delete it and we will.

6. Your rights

Write to contact@datanexus.ae to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You will get an answer from a person.

7. Security

The enquiries table can be written to but not read back by the key this website uses, so someone who compromised the site still could not read past submissions. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No arrangement is perfect, and if that ever stops being true we will say so rather than wait to be asked.

8. Who we are

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.

Page-view counting

Your answer is kept in this browser only. Clearing site data resets it.
